JUNE GACHUI has been referred to as one of Kenya’s most sought after entertainers. She sings, acts both on screen and on stage, offers MC and hosting services. It has been said that the one thing that distinguishes her from most of her peers, is her performance; June sings with her entire being, with soul and doesn’t hold anything back when she is on stage. Her love affair with music, theatre and the arts is no secret and those who have listened to and watched her perform can attest to that.
“Singing and acting are my passion and they also double up as pretty effective stress relievers!” June shares. In spite of this being a fun hobby, June has found a way to structure the art in such a way that it is professional, entertaining and more importantly profitable, by using some of the skills she has gained through her own business.
In addition to her love for the arts, June is an accomplished intellectual property lawyer and runs her own law firm. “I wanted to focus on an area of law linked to the arts, so that I could make a difference in the lives of many creatives,” she says.
