Happy New Year folks! Tired of hearing this phrase yet? Well buckle up because, we know we still have like another two months of Kenyans wishing each other good will and cheer.
Looking back to 2016, we had a good run. It was a great year. I worked on my new music which was a totally wonderful experience. Writing music, jamming and getting production done with David Hunter, Angie Gachui,Eddie Grey and Eric Musyoka was beyond my dreams – and the collaborations, my word! Blinky Bill Ssellanga, Khaligraph Jones – it was amazing going to studio with these guys. I could not have asked for better people to call my musical family. #Blessed
The album – TWENTY YEARS – came out great and we had an absolutely beautiful show in August to launch it. With a duo band set up, Art in Motion bringing the moves, Brian Babu and Cultured Ego as our fabulous glam squad, Olivia Ambani was a featured artist and the Kenya National Theatre was the perfect location! We swiftly changed gears and I was back on stage with great old pals for the Motown In Nairobi experience. This time it was at The Hub in Karen. Such a glamorous night. We boogied, we shimmied and thanks to Neema Ntalel, Dela, Kendi Nkonge, Denise Gordon Victor Muli, Aaron Rimbui, Chris Bittok, Edward Parseen and the Different Faces Band, we had a night we shall remember for a long time.
Soon enough, it was Christmas, so we brought nyumminess! 12 Days of Nyumminess…12 Days Of Christmas with June! We gave you a track a day as we counted down to the holidays and let me just say Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love and all the support you showed. I hope the holidays were as Nyummy for you as they were for us. The album is now available for purchase here.

So you need to get to booking your tickets ASAP, because boss… they are selling like hot cakes!!
